Vows that Wow: Saige + Logan
Vows That Wow is our monthly spotlight on weddings that leave a lasting impression, and Saige and Logan’s celebration is exactly that. With timeless elegance, romantic pink florals, black-tie style, and deeply meaningful details woven throughout the day, their wedding was a beautiful reflection of their love story, their families, and the life they are building together.
How Saige and Logan Met
The two first met in person in December 2019, and it wasn’t long before Logan was asking Saige to come visit him in Texas, where he was playing baseball at Texas A&M. By January 2020, he was still persistent about wanting to see her again, but life had something else in store.
When COVID sent Logan home, the date requests continued. At the same time, Saige’s dad was battling pancreatic cancer, and dating was the last thing on her mind. Her dad passed away on February 27, 2020, and after that loss, Saige knew she wasn’t ready for a relationship.
Then, in December 2020, the two found their way back to each other while Logan was home for Christmas break. This time, something felt different. Logan told Saige that if she was serious about giving them a chance, she needed to come visit him in Texas.
So, in January 2021, she did.
Saige and Logan officially began dating on January 23, 2021. Later that year, they moved to Florida together, and the rest became their story.
“Looking back now, I truly believe God’s timing was at work in our story. Logan came into my life before I was ready for him, but somehow found his way back at exactly the right time.” -Saige
An Evening in White
The wedding weekend began with its own beautifully styled celebration: an “An Evening in White” rehearsal dinner at Venue 5 Twenty-Two. Saige and Logan, along with all of their guests, dressed in white for the occasion, creating a striking monochromatic scene against the venue’s modern setting.
The couple took portraits with a vintage car before gathering with their loved ones for an outdoor dinner on the venue’s gorgeous patio. A blue-and-white tablescape brought a fresh contrast to the all-white attire, while ChefauChef Catering brought the evening together with a thoughtfully prepared dinner for the couple and their guests. The result was an elegant, welcoming start to the wedding weekend that felt just as considered as the celebration to come.
The Details That Made the Celebration
Saige and Logan envisioned a wedding that felt romantic, timeless, and deeply personal, with soft peony pink, crisp white, and silver setting the tone. At Venue 5 Twenty-Two, the venue’s modern black-and-white design created a striking canvas for their vision, from its manicured lawn and golf green to the outdoor ceremony space where the couple exchanged vows atop an all-white round platform surrounded by abundant pink and white florals.
Pink remained at the center of the design throughout the celebration, from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the lush floral installations and reception tablescapes layered with mixed linens, candlelight, and luxurious details. The result was a look that felt romantic and timeless while still making a statement.
At the reception, Butterfly Bakery created a grand all-white, four-tier round wedding cake finished with intricate white piping and a custom monogram. 86 Bar Staffing handled the bartending, helping carry the celebration from dinner into a joyful night of dancing.
Some of the day’s most meaningful details were rooted in family. Five white roses were placed on a reserved chair in honor of Saige’s late father, with one from her mother, each of her siblings, and Saige herself. Wedding photographs from their parents and grandparents were also displayed beneath the words, “All the stories before us.”
“From the pink peonies and custom monogrammed cake to our handwritten vows and joyful dance floor, every detail felt personal to us.” -Saige
Saige and Logan’s Favorite Moment
For Saige, choosing a single favorite moment is nearly impossible. After spending so much time imagining and planning their wedding, seeing it all come together was its own kind of magic.
“For me, seeing everything we had dreamed about and planned for so long finally come to life was one of the best feelings,” Saige shared. “All of the pink flowers were absolutely stunning, every little detail came together so beautifully, and everything felt perfect.”
She also knew from the beginning that honoring her dad would be an important part of the day. The thoughtful tributes throughout the celebration allowed her to feel his presence while celebrating one of the biggest moments of her life.
For Logan, the answer was a little more specific: their first look.
Having a quiet moment together and seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day was especially meaningful to him. While the day was filled with beautiful details and unforgettable moments, that private pause together stood out.
“There were just so many beautiful moments throughout the entire day that choosing only one feels impossible,” Saige said. “We wish we could relive it all over again.”
What They Learned Along the Way
Planning a wedding of this scale taught Saige something that had little to do with flowers, timelines, or seating charts. She learned not to let the pressure of perfecting every detail overshadow the reason for the celebration in the first place.
“At the end of it all, the most important thing was marrying Logan and being surrounded by the people who genuinely love and support us,” Saige said. “The day goes by so incredibly fast, and I’m grateful I learned to focus my energy on the people and moments that truly mattered.”
That perspective feels especially fitting for a wedding so full of meaningful details. The flowers, tablescapes, cake, and carefully considered design created the visual beauty, but the people and memories behind them are what gave the celebration its lasting meaning.
A Full-Circle Moment With Wed Society Nebraska
Saige had already connected with Wed Society Nebraska earlier in the year through a collaboration, making this feature a natural continuation of that relationship. “I became more familiar with their platform and absolutely loved the way they showcase and celebrate local weddings, couples, and vendors,” she shared.
Saige and Logan’s wedding was ultimately a celebration of love, family, and the stories that brought them to this moment. From the pink peonies to the photographs honoring generations before them, every part of the weekend told a piece of their story. And that is exactly what makes their celebration one we were so excited to feature as a Vows That Wow wedding.
Congratulations, Saige and Logan!
