The Space That Held It All

Creating an elevated and luxurious setting to say “I do” was simple when the backdrop is picture-perfect from the start. The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel was the perfect venue to host their ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and accommodations all in one convenient and picturesque location. The historic Schimmel Ballroom was a stunning blank canvas for their ceremony, which was transformed into a moody reception location for their dinner and dance floor. In between, guests enjoyed delicious cocktails in the Orléans Room surrounded by an impressive backdrop of locally curated artwork.

Ellise’s bridal look was a masterclass in modern elegance. House of Deane crafted a delicate, flowing veil that perfectly complemented the architectural lines of her structural gown—sleek, sophisticated, and effortlessly striking. Every element of her look felt intentional.

The celebration itself was an immersive showcase of design, led by the lush, textural florals of The Gathering Co. Rich shades of pink, burgundy, and green were woven throughout the day, from sweeping ceremony arches that framed the couple to intricately styled tablescapes that elevated the dining experience. Each arrangement felt both lavish and purposeful, leaving guests in awe of the beauty and craft at every turn. The Gathering Co. added the perfect complements to the lush florals with a show-stopping escort wall and romantic candles among the tablescapes.

Throughout the day, The Downtown Collective Entertainment set the tone with impeccable timing and artistry. A live saxophonist lent soulful energy to cocktail hour, which seamlessly gave way to an upbeat DJ set that filled the dance floor with excitement—each transition feeling effortless, keeping the celebration lively and unforgettable.
